Dr. Jv Junior College

We are located at 30-14-2 in the Daba Gardens area of Visakhapatnam. This is a really busy part of the city, so there is always a lot of noise and movement right outside our door. Being a junior college, we have students coming in for their intermediate years before they head off to university. The building is tucked away among all the other shops and offices in Vizag. It’s not a sprawling campus, but we use every inch of the floors we have. The stairs see a lot of foot traffic throughout the day. We don’t have much in the way of green space, but that’s just how it is in Daba Gardens. We focus on the classes and making sure the students have what they need for their labs. The staff room is usually crowded with notebooks and tea cups. It’s a very urban environment. You can hear the city buses and the bikes all day long. We have a small entrance where students wait for their rides. The walls are covered in notices about exams and schedules. It’s a practical place for students who want to be in the center of things. We don't have a big lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and the classrooms are right there. It’s been our home for a while and we’ve seen many batches pass through these halls. Most students grab a quick snack from the vendors outside before their morning lectures start.
