Coastal Cuisine

Our place, Coastal Cuisine, is located on Port Street Road in the Seethammadhara area of Visakhapatnam. We are tucked in the back, near the NRI hospital and the SFS school. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the big main roads, which we actually like quite a bit. People usually find us because they live in the neighborhood or they're visiting someone at the hospital nearby. We focus on the food and not much else. The kitchen is the heart of the place, and it’s usually humming with noise starting from early in the morning. We get fresh supplies delivered at the crack of dawn and start the prep work before the sun gets too high in the sky. The interior isn’t something out of a magazine, but it’s clean and the chairs are sturdy enough for a long meal. We have a few staff members who have been with us since we started on Port Street Road. They know the regulars by name and what they usually like to eat for lunch. Sometimes we run out of a certain dish early if it’s a busy Tuesday, and we just have to tell people we’ll have more tomorrow. That’s just how it goes when you’re not a big chain restaurant. We like being a local Seethammadhara business. It feels good to serve the neighbors and the families from the school who stop by. We've been here for years and hope to stay.
