City Grill

City Grill is located right in the middle of CBM Compound in Visakhapatnam. We are in Shop No 12-7-2, sitting just above the Wood Land showroom. It’s a pretty busy spot because the Sampath Vinayaka Temple is right beside us. You can usually hear the bells from the temple during the day while we are working in the kitchen. The heat in Vizag can be a lot sometimes, especially when the grills are going, but that is just part of the job. We spend most of our time getting things ready for the lunch rush and then cleaning up afterwards. It is not a very quiet area, with people always coming and going from the shops downstairs or visiting the temple. The stairs up to our place can be a bit steep if you aren’t used to them. We’ve been at this location for some time now and most of the regulars know exactly where to find us. We don’t really do much advertising because people just see the sign when they are out shopping or walking nearby. It gets a bit crowded on the weekends when the whole compound is full of cars and bikes. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in. There is always something to fix or a floor to mop, so it keeps us busy from start to finish. It’s just a normal place to eat.
