Aptwr Jr College(G)

Aptwr Jr College(G) is tucked away in Arakuvalley, specifically in the Yendapallivalasa area. If you know Visakhapatnam, you know it is a bit of a journey to get up here. It is a junior college for girls and we have been operating in this part of the valley for a good while. The scenery around the college is beautiful but we are mostly focused on what is happening inside the walls. The girls come from the nearby tribal areas and villages to study. It is a simple life here. We don't have all the modern gadgets that big city colleges have. The building is functional and we do our best to maintain it. Being in Arakuvalley means we are a bit isolated but that creates a close bond among the students and the staff. We spend our days going through the curriculum and making sure everyone is keeping up. It is not a flashy place at all. It is just a local college doing what it can for the community in Yendapallivalasa. Most days are quiet until the lunch break when everyone comes out to the common areas. We see a lot of hard work from these girls who travel quite a distance sometimes just to be here. It is a small part of the Visakhapatnam district but it matters a lot to the people who live in this valley. We just try to keep things running smoothly so they can finish their studies and move on to whatever is next.
