Andhra University College Of Engineering

The Andhra University College of Engineering is located in the Siripuram area. It’s an old and well-established part of the city. We have been here for many decades, and the campus has a lot of history in its walls. It’s a large place with many different buildings for all the various engineering branches. You’ll see students everywhere, especially near the main gates and the canteen. It’s not a quiet place during the day; there’s always the sound of people talking and the general hum of a big institution. We have a lot of trees around, which makes the walk between departments a bit nicer when it’s sunny. The staff here, including the administrative people and the lab assistants, have seen a lot of changes over the years. We don't use corporate language to describe ourselves. We are a government institution, and our focus is just on education. The paperwork can be a lot sometimes, and the buildings show their age in some spots, but that’s just part of our character. People in Siripuram treat the college like a landmark. We aren't trying to be a fancy private school with glass buildings. We just provide a place for students to come and get their engineering degrees. It’s a busy, sometimes messy, but very real place. We just keep doing our work every day, year after year.
