Sampath Smart Agro Farms Private Limited is located over in Seethammadhara. Our office is at Sri Sai Vihar, which is in the BS Layout area. The door number is 49-54-7/9/9, and we are in Flat No. 302. It is a residential neighborhood mostly, so it is a bit different from being right on a farm. Since we are on the third floor, we get a little bit of a breeze sometimes, which is nice in the summer. We spend a lot of our time going back and forth between this office in the city and the actual farm sites where the work is happening. The name says "smart," but really we just try to use common sense with how we grow things. We aren't a big company with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us who care about how the land is used. The office is usually full of maps and soil samples rather than fancy furniture. Sometimes the lift in the building doesn't work, so we have to carry everything up the stairs. It is just part of the daily routine. We started this because we wanted to see if we could manage the farms better by being more organized. It has been a lot of learning as we go. We don't have any big marketing plans, we just focus on the crops and making sure the work gets done right.
