Aaraa Spices

Aaraa Spices is located at number 56, Kalaingar Padippagam in Iluppaiyurani. It’s a small town where everyone knows each other’s business. We’ve been operating here for a few years now. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it stays cool in the summer heat, which is what matters for the spices. We spend our mornings sorting and packing things. It’s hard work on the hands, but we are used to it by now. The air always smells like cumin and pepper, which stays on your clothes even after you go home. We don't spend money on fancy displays or big signs. Most of our visitors are people from the nearby villages who have been coming to us for a long time. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a batch isn't good, we don't sell it. It’s as simple as that. There are only a few of us working here, so we all have to do a bit of everything, from sweeping the floor to keeping the books. It’s not a glamorous life, but it provides for our families and keeps us busy. We don't have a big plan to change the world. We just want to keep the shop running and make sure our neighbors are satisfied. It is a decent way to spend a life.
