Yash Vidya Niketan School

Yash Vidya Niketan School is tucked away in Virar East, in the Palghar district. We’ve been here for years, watching the 401303 area develop and change. The school is a fairly simple building with several floors of classrooms. It's often quite loud with the sound of kids chatting in the hallways between lessons. We don't have a lot of extra space, but we make use of every corner we have. The staff consists of people who have mostly been here for a long time, so we know each other well. We deal with the typical school day things, like missing pencils, broken chairs, and organizing the annual sports day. It’s a very local feel here. Most of our students live just a short walk or a quick rickshaw ride away. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We’re just a school where teachers teach and students learn. The desks are a bit scratched up and the hallways can be a bit narrow, but that's just part of the character of the place. We follow the state board requirements and try to keep our paperwork in order for the authorities. It’s a lot of routine work, but seeing the kids grow up from year to year is what keeps us going. Virar East is a busy place, and we’re just one part of the daily life for many families around here who have been sending their children to us for years.
