Saraswati Bal Vidya Mandir High School Teekar

This school is located in Global Plaza, specifically in shops 7 through 11. We are right in the heart of Global City in Virar West. Global City is a massive residential area, so we have a lot of families living very close to us. Having five shops in a row gives us a decent amount of space on the ground floor of the plaza. You can find us easily if you are walking through the commercial section of the development. It’s a modern part of Thane, but we keep our school very traditional and simple. The shops are connected inside to make room for the different classes. Being a high school, the students are older and they usually hang around the plaza area for a bit after the final bell rings. The noise of the city is always there in the background, but once the doors are closed, it’s mostly just the sound of teaching. We don't have a private courtyard, so the students use the public walkways of Global Plaza when they arrive and leave. It’s a very practical arrangement for a school in such a densely populated area like Virar. We spend our days managing the classes and talking to parents who live in the surrounding towers. It’s a busy, unpretentious place where we just get on with the job of running a school.
