Star Gents Beauty Parlour And Salon is on the Main Road in Vijayawada. We are at building number 9-60-6 which is quite close to Kamala Dantha Vidhya Shala. Since it’s on the Main Road, the location is very convenient for people passing through. It is a place for men to get their grooming done. We have several stations set up with mirrors and drawers for the tools. It’s a typical gents' parlour setup with the smell of shaving cream and talcum powder. Usually, we have a few guys waiting on the sofa near the front reading the paper or looking at their phones. We do haircuts, shaves, and sometimes head massages which are popular after a long day of work in the sun. The lights are bright so we can see the edges of the hair clearly. The floor is made of simple tiles and we try to sweep up after every customer so it doesn't get too messy. It gets pretty loud with the traffic outside but we are used to it by now. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that, just a sign outside and people seeing us as they walk by. Sometimes the regulars come in just to sit and chat for a few minutes while they wait for their turn. It’s a practical shop meant for everyday grooming. We keep our combs in the blue liquid and the razors ready for the next person.
