We are up on the first floor of Kgb Duniya Apartments right here in Muncipal Employees Colony. You can find us easily because we are right beside Guptha Kalyana Mandapam near Benz Circle. It gets busy around here with the traffic and people going to the hall for functions. Most mornings start with dusting off the shelves and making sure the water is running fine. The sun hits the balcony early and we usually keep the door open for a bit of air before the heat sets in. This part of Vijayawada is always moving. We have been at Door No 2B1 for a while now. The chairs are comfortable enough and we keep our combs and scissors in the drawers ready for whenever someone walks in. Sometimes it is quiet and we just sit and watch the street below. Other times three or four people show up at once and it gets crowded fast. We try to keep things tidy but sometimes hair gets on the floor during a busy rush and we sweep it up as we go. It is just a small place but it works for what we do. We see many faces from the apartments nearby. People stop by after work or before a wedding at the mandapam. It is a simple routine every day from morning till we close the shutters at night. We make sure the mirrors are clear and the towels are fresh.
