Chandan Herbal Beauty Parlour

Our little spot is right in S.N Puram, right across from Bashyam School. You can't miss it if you're dropping kids off or just walking through the neighborhood. It’s a small place, really. We use a lot of herbal stuff because that’s what people around here seem to like for their skin. The shelves are mostly full of jars and bottles we’ve used for years. It smells like dried leaves and some oils most of the time. My sister and I run the place usually. We aren't big on fancy decorations or anything. There’s a couple of chairs and a small bench for waiting if we are busy. When the school lets out, it gets pretty noisy outside, but inside it stays mostly quiet. We see a lot of the same faces every week. People come in for a thread or some herbal pack on their face. We don’t have a website or anything like that. Just this shop in Vijayawada on Dr No. 23-28-10. Sometimes the door sticks when it’s humid. We just keep things simple and honest. If the shop is open, we're in there working. It's just a regular part of the street. Nothing more to it than that. Most of our tools are old but we keep them clean. We like the light that comes in through the front window in the late afternoon. It's just a local business for local people who want something simple.
