Sri Srinivasa Childrens Hospital

Sri Srinivasa Childrens Hospital sits on Chiluku Durgaiah Street, right at 29-8-39/4. Being a place for kids, it is rarely ever quiet around here. You can hear crying or laughing pretty much from the moment we open the doors in the morning. Parents are always coming in with strollers or carrying their little ones. The street outside can be a bit narrow, so parking is sometimes a headache for the people visiting. We try to keep things organized, but when you have ten kids waiting at once, it gets a bit messy. The walls have some old stickers on them to keep the children occupied for a minute or two. It’s just a regular local hospital, nothing like those big corporate places you see in the city center. We know most of the families who live around this part of the street. Sometimes a kid comes in for a checkup and they are scared, so we have to take things slow. The staff has been here for years, so we all know each other's routines. We just focus on getting through the day and making sure the families get what they need. It’s a busy life on Chiluku Durgaiah Street, but it feels good to be part of the community here. We don't have fancy lobbies, just some benches and a lot of toy noise for the little ones.
