Sri Chaitanya Childrens Hospital

This place is for the kids. We are located at 57-8-14 Bunder Road in the Patamata area. If you live around here, you’ve probably seen the building while driving down the main road. Being a children's hospital, it’s never really quiet. There is usually the sound of a baby crying or kids playing with the few toys we have in the corner. The walls have some stickers on them to make it look less scary for the little ones, but it’s still very much a hospital. We do vaccinations, growth checks, and help out when kids catch those bugs from school. The waiting room is often full of parents holding bags with diapers and water bottles. It can get a bit messy with all the people coming through, but we try to sweep up regularly. Our doctors have been seeing these same kids since they were born. Patamata is a busy area, so getting here can be a bit of a trek during rush hour. We don’t have any fancy bells or whistles, just the basic medical gear needed to look after children. Sometimes the wait is long because a doctor is spending extra time with a fussy toddler. We just ask everyone to be patient. It’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with sick children and worried parents every day. We also have a small pharmacy where you can get the medicines the doctor writes down for the little ones.
