Sri Sai Salon

Sri Sai Salon is located at H No 71-1-10B on Koneruvari Street. This is in the Patamata area of Vijayawada. It is more of a residential street, so it is a bit different from the big commercial blocks. The shop is actually part of a building here. It is not a very big space, but we have managed to fit everything we need inside. I have been working in Patamata for a long time. I have seen the neighborhood grow and get more crowded over the years. My shop is where people come when they do not want to go to those expensive places on the main road. I keep the prices fair because I know my neighbors. The chairs are a bit old and the vinyl is cracked in a few places, but they work fine. I have a small radio that plays music or the cricket score. Most of my customers are regulars who live just a few houses away. We talk about family and how the city is changing. It is a quiet kind of life. I open up early in the morning before it gets too hot. By the afternoon, it is usually just me sitting under the fan until someone walks in. I do not have a big sign with lights, just a simple one so people know it is a salon. It is just a steady, small business that serves the people on this street without any big fuss or trouble.
