If you are in Singh Nagar, Vijayawada, you will find Sri Padmaja Hair Cutting Saloon. We are located at the Dabaktlu Centre. This part of town is usually very lively. Our shop is small and humble. We don’t have any air conditioning, just a couple of fans that spin all day. The 520015 area is where we live and work. We know most of the people who walk past our door. Some stop for a haircut, others just wave. We do basic hair cutting and shaving. We don't use any fancy products. Just standard soaps and creams. The chairs have seen better days but they are solid. We make sure everyone who sits down feels okay. We don't have a receptionist. You just walk in and if a chair is empty, you sit. If not, there’s a bench. We talk about sports or whatever is on the news. It’s a friendly atmosphere. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with hair on the floor, but we sweep it up as fast as we can. We take pride in our work even if it’s just a simple job. It’s how we support our families. We’ve been at Dabaktlu Centre for years. Not much has changed inside the shop. We like the way things are. It’s a local spot for local people. No need for anything more than that.
