Sri Nava Durga Salon

You can find Sri Nava Durga Salon at H No 40-27-77 in Gayatri Nagar. We are very close to the Pinnamaneni Poly Clinic, so a lot of people use that as a landmark to find us. I started this shop in Vijayawada because I’ve always lived around here and noticed there weren't many places for a quick, simple haircut. The shop isn't very large, but we’ve made the most of the space. I have two chairs and a small area where people can wait and read the newspaper. I try to keep things organized, but on busy days, it can get a little messy with hair and towels everywhere. I don’t use any big words to describe what we do. It’s just hair cutting and shaving. I’ve been doing this since I was a young man, and my hands know the movements better than I do sometimes. The street outside is usually full of people going to the clinic or the nearby shops. We get a lot of regulars who have been coming to me for years. We talk about our families and what’s happening in Gayatri Nagar. It’s a comfortable place, even if it’s not the most modern. I don't see any reason to change how we do things. As long as the scissors are sharp and the customers are satisfied, I’m happy to keep the doors open and the chairs ready.
