Sri Kanaka Durga Hair Cutting Saloon

Sri Kanaka Durga Hair Cutting Saloon is our little shop located on Dabakotha Road in the Singh Nagar area of Vijayawada. We have been here for a good number of years now, serving the people in this part of town. Singh Nagar is a big place, but people around Dabakotha Road know where we are. The shop is a simple room with a couple of chairs and a ceiling fan that works hard in the summer. We don't have a mission statement or any of that fancy stuff. We just open up the doors in the morning, sweep the front, and get to work. Most of our customers are men from the nearby houses who want a quick shave or a haircut before they go about their day. We know most of them by name. It’s a very local vibe. We don't use expensive products or have a big team of stylists. It’s just us and our scissors. Sometimes we have a little television on in the corner showing the news. We try to keep the place as clean as we can, though hair has a way of getting everywhere. We’ve stayed in business because we just do the work and don't charge more than what is fair. It’s a quiet life, but it’s ours, and we like being a part of the daily routine here in Vijayawada. That’s all there is to it. We keep our shutters open until the sun goes down and the street gets quiet.
