Shanmukh Print World

Being on Eluru Road in Vijayawada means dealing with a lot of dust and a whole lot of traffic noise every single day. Shanmukh Print World is right in the middle of all that action. There are bikes and cars zooming past the front door from early morning until late at night. We have got a pretty basic setup inside the shop. There are a few heavy machines, some long wooden tables for sorting through the paper, and a small counter where people stand when they come in to talk to us. It gets pretty loud when all the printers are running at the same time, so we usually have to raise our voices quite a bit to be heard over the clicking and whirring. We do not have much in the way of air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that spin as fast as they can to keep the air moving around the room. Most of our work comes from the people who live or work along this main stretch of road. It is a busy place, so there is always someone stopping by because they saw our name while stuck in the traffic outside. We spend a lot of time just loading paper and checking the ink levels. It is repetitive work but someone has to do it. By the time we lock up, the streetlights are on and the road is finally starting to quiet down.
