Master Id Cards

We’re up on the first floor on Masjid Street in Arundelpet. The address is 28-10-21, and it’s a busy little stretch of road. Being on the first floor means we get a bit of a view of the street below, which is always full of activity. The building is older, and the stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful coming up. We’ve got our card printing machines set up along the walls. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we have a lot of materials delivered. There’s always the smell of plastic and ink in the air. We’ve been in Arundelpet for years and know most of the other shop owners on the street. It’s a community feel here. We usually start early and finish when the work is done. Sometimes we stay late if there’s a big batch to get through. We don’t have a fancy waiting room, just a couple of stools. People usually just drop off their details and come back later. The fan oscillates back and forth, trying to keep the heat down. It’s a simple life, focused on getting the IDs right. We don’t bother with much else besides the work and the occasional chat with the neighbors. It's a steady job and we're used to the rhythm of the machines. Most days just blend together, but that's alright. We just focus on the task at hand.
