The shop is basic—we have a large mirror, a few drawers for all the tools, and some simple chairs for people who are waiting. It is not polished or fancy, but it definitely gets the job done. I usually have a small radio playing some local stations softly in the background. The floor gets messy with hair pretty fast, so I am always grabbing the broom to sweep it up. We know most of the families who live around this part of Vijayawada 2. It is a real community shop where we know everyone who walks through the door.
