Sai Mahesh Salon

Sai Mahesh Salon is over on Subba Rao Street at D No 23-23-67. This is in the Satyanarayanapuram part of Vijayawada. It is a fairly quiet street compared to the big main roads. We have been operating here for a good amount of time. The shop is tucked away but the locals know where to find us. We have a few chairs inside and the mirrors are lined up against the side wall. We start our day by setting out the combs and making sure the water is ready. Vijayawada gets very hot in the summer, so our shop is a place where people can come in and get out of the sun for a bit while they get a trim. We don't have any big signs or anything flashy. It's just a regular door on a regular street. Most of our customers are from the surrounding houses in Satyanarayanapuram. They come in for a quick haircut or a shave before they go to their jobs. We spend a lot of time sweeping the floor because it's a small space and it gets messy quick with all the hair. The atmosphere is relaxed and we don't rush through the work. People talk about the news or what's happening in the neighborhood while they wait. We just keep the shop running day in and day out. It is a simple setup for a simple service. No one expects anything more than a clean chair and a bit of conversation.
