Saheli Beauty & Cosmetic Centre

Our shop is located at D No30-22-42 on Eluru Road, right in the middle of Governerpet. If you know where Vijetha Hospital is, we are just near that spot. It is a busy part of Vijayawada, so there is always something happening outside on the street. We sell some cosmetics too, not just doing hair and skin work. The shelves have various creams, lipsticks, and powders that people around here like to use. We started this place because we wanted to have something of our own to run. Every day we open up early, sweep the floor, and wait for the first person to walk in. Usually, it is someone looking for a specific bindi color or a haircut before a family wedding. The hospital brings a lot of people to this street, so we see many new faces every week. We use simple chairs and big mirrors. Sometimes the fan makes a little noise, but it keeps the air moving during the hot months. Dealing with cosmetics means keeping track of what is in stock. We have to check the expiry dates on the tubes and jars quite often. It gets a bit dusty because of the road traffic, so wiping down the glass counters is a constant job. We do not do anything fancy or high-end. People come in, tell us what they want, and we do it. It is a local spot where you can hear the street noise while you get your hair done.
