S P Salon

You can find S P Salon over on Goripati Street in the Gayatri Nagar area of Vijayawada. We are situated right beside the SBI NRI Branch, which is a good landmark if you are looking for us. The street gets quite busy during bank hours, so there is always a lot of movement outside our window. Our shop is quite small, but we have organized it to fit everything we need. We’ve got the hair washing station in the back and a couple of cutting chairs up front. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor tile has a crack near the door, but it doesn't get in the way of our work. We use simple tools and keep things uncomplicated. Vijayawada weather is usually quite humid, so we keep the fans on high to keep everyone comfortable while they wait. Most of our customers are folks who live right here in Gayatri Nagar or work at the nearby offices. We don't do anything flashy, just standard haircuts and shaves for the local men. Sometimes we run out of tea or the newspapers are late, but nobody really minds. It is a very casual atmosphere where you can just be yourself. We’ve been here for a while and plan to stay for a lot longer, just doing what we do every day on Goripati Street.
