Ramu Hair Cutting Saloon

Ramu Hair Cutting Saloon has been on Eluru Road in Vijayawada for many years. We are located in the Muthyatam Padu area, right on the main road where all the buses go by. It is a noisy spot, but that means plenty of people see us every day. The shop is small and has that old-style barber shop feel to it. We have three old chairs with the footrests that creak a little bit. Ramu started this place a long time ago, and we have kept it mostly the same. We do basic haircuts, shaves, and head massages. A lot of the older men come in every morning for their shave and to read the newspaper while they wait. The floor is tiled but some of them are cracked from years of use. We have a small TV in the corner that usually shows the news or a movie. It is a very simple setup. We do not have any fancy equipment or expensive products. Just scissors, combs, and a straight razor. The water in the basin is sometimes a bit slow, but we manage. Vijayawada is a hot city, so we always have the ceiling fans on full speed. It is a place where you can just sit down, get your hair cut, and talk about what is happening in the city. We are just a local shop trying to earn a living by providing a necessary service.
