Oscars The Salon

If you go down the service road in Kp Nagar, Vijayawada, you will find us at Shop No 9 in the Chadralok Complex. We are quite close to Stella College, so we see a lot of students coming in between their classes. The service road can be a bit of a mess with traffic sometimes, but it’s a good spot for a salon. Oscars has been around for a bit now, and we’ve seen plenty of different styles come and go. The shop is decent-sized, not too big and not too small. We have the usual salon chairs and some posters on the walls. It’s a casual place where people feel okay just dropping in without an appointment most of the time. The lighting is bright so we can see what we are doing with the scissors. We don't have any of those fancy coffee machines or anything, but we do our work properly. Most of our day is spent chatting with the college kids or the people who work in the other shops in the complex. It’s a friendly vibe. We try to keep the floors swept, but hair gets everywhere when it’s busy. That’s just part of the job. It is a simple life running a salon in this part of Vijayawada. We just focus on the hair and making sure people look okay when they leave. The building is older but it serves us well enough.
