Nagarjuna Salon

Nagarjuna Salon is over in Vidyadharapuram, specifically at Dno 3-1-197 near the Sitara Center. We are located in the Ramarajya Nagar part of Vijayawada. I opened this shop because there weren't many places nearby where you could get a decent haircut without paying a fortune. The shop is on the ground floor, so it’s easy for the older folks to get in. I have a few chairs and a big shelf where I keep my powders, creams, and combs. The floor is usually covered in a bit of hair because I’m often too busy to sweep between every single customer. I try to get to it every hour though. The neighborhood kids come here after school, and I see the working men in the evenings. We talk about cricket or the local politics while I work. I don't have any fancy signs or neon lights. Just a simple board with the name on it. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to use the natural light from the doorway, but we manage. I’ve been in this trade since I was a teenager, so my hands know what to do even when I’m tired. The Sitara Center area is always loud with traffic, but inside the salon, it feels a bit quieter. It’s just a basic shop for basic needs. I don't try to be anything I’m not. If you need a trim, you know where to find me.
