Mani Beauty Parlour

Mani Beauty Parlour is located at 11-25-14 on K.T. Road in the Kotha Pet area of Vijayawada. This part of the city is always moving, and the street outside our door is rarely quiet. We’ve been running this parlor for a while, and it’s become a bit of a fixture in Kothapet. The shop is small and fairly basic inside. We don’t have the budget for fancy interior designers, so we just decorated it ourselves with what we had. It’s a place where local women can come to get their hair done or get a facial without it being a big production. The humidity in Vijayawada can be tough, so we make sure the fans are always on high. We have a few simple stations and a small bench for people to sit on while they wait. It’s not a corporate business; it’s just us doing the work every day. We know the other shop owners on K.T. Road, and we often send out for tea or coffee when there’s a break in the day. Our customers are mostly regulars who live in the surrounding streets. They don't expect anything fancy, just a decent job and a bit of a conversation. We keep the place clean as best as we can, though the dust from the road is a constant battle. It’s just a normal, everyday shop. We make it work for everyone who comes by.
