You will find Kalyani Mens Hair & Beauty Care right in front of the Autonagar Bus Depo. We are on the street right beside the terminal in Vijayawada. It is a very busy area with all the buses and trucks coming in and out all day long. You can hear the horns and the engines from inside the shop. Because of where we are, we get a lot of workers from the industrial area and drivers who have some time between trips. They just want a quick haircut or maybe a face wash to get the grime off. We have a few chairs set up. It is a bit more than just a barber shop since we do some basic beauty care too, but nothing like what you see in the big city malls. It is simple stuff for working men. The walls have some posters of different hair cuts, but most people just ask for the same thing every time. The shop gets a bit crowded in the evenings when everyone finishes work. We have a couple of fans going to keep the air moving. It is not a quiet place, but it is honest work. The street outside is always full of life and people selling tea or snacks. We are just part of that whole Autonagar scene. It has been our spot for a good while and we know the rhythms of the bus depo. There is always someone coming or going.
