We are located at 56-2-36, which is right near that new Shodha Toyota showroom. It’s funny how that showroom has become the landmark everyone uses to find Jagdamba Gramodyog (India) Pvt. Ltd. now. The area has built up so fast lately. Our place is more about traditional work, so having a modern car dealership as a neighbor is a bit of a contrast. Inside our doors, it’s a lot of everyday hustle. We handle various gramodyog products, which means dealing with a lot of different suppliers and small-scale workers. It’s a lot of coordination and phone calls. The office is usually a mess of samples and ledger books. We try to stay organized, but when things get busy, the filing is the first thing to suffer. We’ve got a small team here, mostly people from the nearby areas who have been doing this kind of work their whole lives. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a few photos of family. The traffic on the main road can be a nightmare during rush hour, so we usually try to get our heavy loading done early in the morning. It’s not a high-profile corporate life, just a steady business trying to stay relevant in a changing city. We take things one day at a time and try to keep our promises to the people we work with.
