Images Ladies Beauty Spot

If you know Besant Road in Vijayawada, you know how crowded it gets with all the shoppers and the constant traffic. That is exactly where Images Ladies Beauty Spot is tucked away. It is a small place, mostly for the women who live around here or those who are out doing their shopping and need a break. The walls are painted a simple color and we have a few stations for threading and hair stuff. It’s not one of those big, bright parlors you see in the malls. It’s more quiet and local. We spend a lot of time doing eyebrows and basic hair cuts for girls and ladies. There’s always a faint smell of hair spray and herbal creams in the air. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just life in the city. We have some old magazines on the table, though most people just talk to each other while they wait their turn. The floor is tile and we try to keep it wiped down. Working on Besant Road means there is always noise from the street, horns honking and people shouting, but inside it feels a bit more relaxed. We’ve been here for some time now and we know most of the faces that walk through the door. It’s just a regular spot for local women to come and get their grooming done without any fuss.
