I Glow Hair & Beauty Parlour

I Glow Hair & Beauty Parlour is over at the Satyasai Residency in the Kamayyathopu Center. We are quite close to the Vijayalakshmi Theatre, which is how most people in Kanuru describe our location. It is a small parlour that mostly serves the women in this part of Vijayawada. The weather here gets very humid, so we keep the fans running all day long to stay comfortable. Inside, we have a few chairs for hair cutting and a small area behind a curtain for things like waxing or facials. It is a local place, so it feels more like visiting a neighbor than going to a big store. We know most of our customers by their names and we usually know how they like their hair done before they even sit down. Sometimes the residency gets a bit noisy with kids playing, but we don't mind it much. We have a shelf with some shampoos and creams that we use for the work. The lighting is bright enough for us to see what we are doing with the scissors. We have been in this spot for several years and it has become a regular part of our lives. We don't have a big staff, just two of us working most of the time. It is a simple life and we like providing a service that people in the neighborhood need for their daily grooming.
