It’s a bit out of the way, but that’s where the farming happens anyway. We work with agrotech, which sounds more complicated than it really is. Mostly, we are just looking at ways to make the farming around here a bit better using whatever tools we can get our hands on. It’s quiet in Bevanur. Life moves a bit slower than in the big cities. We started this because the soil here has its own way of doing things and we wanted to understand it better. The office is basically just a part of the house. We don’t have a big sign or anything like that. People around here just know us by name. Sometimes we are out in the fields for most of the day, so the office stays shut for a few hours. It’s not a corporate setup. We talk to the local guys about their seeds and their water problems. We’ve been living and working in this 586111 area code for a long time. It’s home. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. We just do the work, look at the plants, and try to make sure next year is better than this one. That is how we spend our time.
