We are Shalbhanjika Krish-E Fed Farmer Producer Company Limited. Our spot is at Village Gyraspur, right on the Vidisha Sagar Road. Omprakash Bairagi is the one who helps us keep everything organized. We’re just a group of farmers from the surrounding area. The road outside is always noisy with traffic going between Vidisha and Sagar, but we stay focused on our land. We decided to form this company because we wanted to have a collective voice. It’s hard to get a good price for your crops when you’re just one person. Now we can negotiate a bit better. We don’t have a big office building. We usually just gather around a table and go over what needs to be done for the month. We don't use any complicated business language. We just talk about the weather, the pests, and the harvest. Sometimes we make mistakes with the paperwork and have to do it over. It’s a learning process for all of us. We aren't trying to impress anyone. We just want to make a decent living for our families. We share our tools and we share our problems. It’s a community effort. If you see a group of guys in work clothes talking by the road, that’s probably us. We’re just trying to make the most of what we have. It is tough work, but doing it together makes it easier.
