Sarv Manav Farmers Producer Company Limited is situated over in Ward No 19 on Ganesh Path. It’s in Tehsil Sironj. We operate out of Jyoti Jain’s place. It’s a busy spot most days with people coming in to talk about their crops or look at seed samples. We aren't a big operation with a lobby or anything. You just walk in and we're there working. Being in Sironj means we are right in the middle of everything. We focus on helping the farmers around here get organized. It’s a lot of back-and-forth between the fields and the office. We try to keep things simple and honest. No one here is wearing a suit. We are usually in our work clothes because there’s always something to move or check on. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to do everything by hand, but that’s just life here. We’ve been working together for a while now, trying to figure out the best way to handle the harvest each year. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we argue about the best way to do things. But in the end, we all want the same thing. We just want to make sure the folks farming this land can keep doing it. It’s a basic setup, but it works for us.
