Virat Industries

Being out here on Shapar Main Road means things are always moving and changing. Virat Industries is located right near the Kaneriya Oil Mill, which is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. The road is often dusty from all the big trucks passing by. We spend most of our hours in the workshop. It is loud and there is always a bit of grease on the floor, no matter how much we sweep it up at the end of the shift. We make things here. It is not a clean office job where you wear a suit. We wear work clothes that get stained, and we work until the job is done for the day. My father used to say that if your hands are clean at the end of the day, you probably did not do much. So, we stay busy. The machines have their own rhythm that you get used to after a few years. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend half the day fixing it before we can even get back to the actual work. That is just how it goes in a place like this. We do not have any fancy brochures. People know where we are because they see the sign on Shapar Main Road. We have a small tea stall nearby where we go for breaks. It is a basic setup, just a shed and the equipment.
