Out here on National Highway-27, things stay pretty loud with all the trucks passing by Survey No.30/1. Kalaria Forge has been operating out of this plot in Shapar-Veraval for a long time. It’s a dusty part of the world, but it’s where we work. We spend our time working with the forge, making sure things come out the way they are supposed to. It gets hot inside the building, especially in the middle of summer, but that’s just part of the deal. We don’t really bother with big speeches or anything like that. We just focus on the metal. There’s a small group of us here. We know the machines pretty well by now. If something stops working, someone usually knows how to give it a kick and get it started again. It’s not a glamorous job, and the walls are covered in grease, but it keeps us busy. We see a lot of people coming through Shapar for work, and we’re just another one of those shops on the highway. We’ve got our routine down. We start early, take our breaks when we can, and try to make sure everything is sorted by the end of the shift. The location is convenient for transport, which helps when moving stuff in and out. It’s a simple setup at Plot No.6, and we like it that way. No need for anything extra or fancy talk for the neighbors.
