Sri Vinayaga Steels

We've been running Sri Vinayaga Steels down here in Kaliyappanallur for quite some time now. The yard is usually full of different steel rods and plates stacked up in piles. Most days start early with the trucks arriving at 64 Kaliyappanallur, and we spend a lot of time just moving things around to make space for new arrivals. It gets pretty dusty out here when the wind picks up, but that’s just how it is working with metal and dirt. The guys are usually busy with the loading crane or checking the weight of the bundles before they head out to local building sites nearby. There isn't much to the office, just a desk and some plastic chairs where we handle the paperwork and take our tea. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three trucks show up at once on this narrow road, but we manage to get them sorted eventually without too much shouting. People stop by to ask about prices or just to see what we have in stock that day. We don't really do anything fancy, just keep the inventory moving and make sure the orders are ready for whoever needs them for their small construction projects. It’s heavy work, and by the end of the shift, everyone is pretty tired and ready to head home. The neighborhood knows us as the place with all the rebar sticking out from the gate. We keep things simple because that's what works.
