We are located over at No-11 on 8th East Cross Road in the Gandhinagar area of Vellore. If you know this part of Tamil Nadu, you know it can get pretty warm and busy during the middle of the day. Our spot here is where all the steel processing for the Dhamm side of the business happens. We’ve been set up in this building for quite a while now. It isn’t anything fancy to look at from the outside, just a regular work site with some machinery and plenty of metal moving in and out. Most of the guys here are local to Vellore or the surrounding villages. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high because the heat in the shop can be a bit much by the afternoon. There is always a lot of clanging and the sound of trucks coming through Gandhinagar to drop off materials. We spend most of our time just making sure the orders are cut right and the processing machines are running like they should. It’s a lot of manual work and checking paperwork at small desks. Sometimes the traffic on the cross road makes it hard for the delivery trucks to turn in, but we make it work. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity, we just focus on getting the daily tasks finished so everyone can head home to their families. It is a steady rhythm here in Vellore.
