Unique Tutorial

Narainpur is a busy little area, especially the parts around Gandhi Nagar. Our place, Unique Tutorial, is tucked away in Naria. It is not hard to find once you know the landmarks around here. We started this tutorial because there really wasn't much available for the local kids who needed a bit of extra help with their books. The rooms we have are a little on the small side, but we make it work. Most of the students just walk over from their houses after school finishes. You can see them coming in their uniforms every afternoon. We keep the windows open when the weather is nice, even if the street noise gets in sometimes. That is just how life is in Varanasi. We have some old wooden benches and chairs we’ve collected over the years. Everything here is practical and used daily. We don't spend any money on fancy decorations or big signs. The focus is always just on the lessons and the students sitting in front of us. Sometimes we stay open late if someone has a lot of questions they need to get through. There isn't really a strict schedule for when we lock up; it just depends on the day. My cousin helps me out with the paperwork, so it is a small operation. Seeing the kids grow up and do okay for themselves is why we keep doing this.
