Gyanlok Study Circle

We are located right on Lanka Road in the Gurudham area of Varanasi, not far from the Gurudham Crossing. It is a busy part of town, but inside our space, things stay pretty focused. People who live around here know how the traffic gets in the afternoon, so we try to keep our schedule in a way that works for the local students. The building isn't brand new or anything, but it serves its purpose well enough for those coming in to study. We have simple wooden desks and chairs, and the fans keep the air moving during those hot Uttar Pradesh summers. Most days, you will find a handful of us here, either sorting out books or helping someone with a specific question. It is not a huge operation with fancy glass walls; it is just a regular study circle where the main thing is having a quiet corner to get work done. Sometimes the noise from the street drifts in, but you get used to it after a few days. We chose this spot because it is easy to find if you are coming from the main crossing. There are a few tea stalls nearby where people take breaks. It feels like a part of the neighborhood. We don’t have a big reception desk or staff in suits. It is just a practical place for learning near the apartment blocks and local shops. If you walk past the crossing, you will see our sign.
