Altus Academy

Our place, Altus Academy, is situated on Pandeypur Road in Varanasi. It is quite easy to spot because we are right in front of the Police Chowki. Also, the Sudhakar Women College is just there, so the whole area is always bustling with students and commuters. Varanasi is a crowded city, and Pandeypur is no different. The noise of the horns and the people outside is constant. We have been operating from this building for a few years. It is a very simple setup with basic classrooms. We do not have a big budget for fancy interiors, so the walls are mostly plain. We have fans that run all day to keep the heat away, though they can be a bit noisy. The teachers here are local people who understand the local school systems well. We do not make big claims about our methods. We just sit with the students and help them get through their syllabus. Most of our students walk here from the nearby colonies. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to use emergency lights, which is just part of the daily life here. People often stop by the office to ask for directions or just to inquire about classes while they are out in the market. It is a very grounded, neighborhood business. We just do our job and help the kids study.
