Unicorn Events

Unicorn Events is over at 54, Lajpat Nagar in the Maldahiya area of Varanasi. We are near Hotel Avanish, which most locals know. It’s a busy part of town, so there’s always plenty of activity. We spend our time planning and putting together various events. It could be anything from a small family thing to something a bit larger. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just show up and do the work. The office is where we keep all our notes and files, though we’re often out at venues more than we’re sitting at our desks. Varanasi has its own pace, and we’ve learned to work with it over the years. Things can be a bit unpredictable, especially with traffic and weather, but we just roll with it. We handle the stuff people don't want to deal with, like talking to vendors and making sure the stage is set up right. It’s physical work and involves a lot of phone calls. We aren’t a big corporate team, just a few of us who know how to get things organized. We like being in Maldahiya; it feels like the heart of things. We just take one event at a time and try to make sure everything stays on track until the end. It is not always easy, but it is what we do.
