Royals Cultural Society

Over in Mishrapura, specifically the Lehartara area of Varanasi, is where you can find us. We’re a cultural society, which sounds a bit formal, but we’re actually just a group of people interested in keeping local traditions and events alive. Varanasi is full of history, and we try to do our part by organizing things that bring the community together. It might be a small festival, a local gathering, or something to do with the arts. We don’t have a glass office or anything like that. Most of our work happens on the ground, talking to neighbors and setting up small stages. It’s a lot of manual work and coordination. Sometimes we’re just making sure there’s enough space for everyone to sit. We’ve been based in this part of town for a good while now. People know us as the folks who get things moving when there’s a local holiday. We aren't doing this for big profits or fame; it's more about the neighborhood feeling. If you walk through Lehartara, you’ve probably seen some of the stuff we’ve put together. It’s not always perfect, sometimes the weather messes with us or things run late, but that’s just life here. We use simple tools and local talent. It keeps things grounded and real. We’re just a part of the local fabric, doing what we can with what we have in this corner of the city. We hope that when people see our banners, they feel like something interesting is finally about to happen.
