Our institute is based in Varanasi, specifically at D-59/143-A-56 in Shivpurwa. If you know Varanasi, you know how tight some of the streets can be and how much energy there is everywhere. Uma Electrical Institute Private Limited is right in the middle of it all. We focus on electrical training because that is what we know best. It is a practical place. You will not find soft carpets or designer lights here. Instead, there are tools, wires, and workbenches. We just focus on getting hands-on with things. The building we are in has been around for a while. It has character, even if the paint is peeling in a few spots. We do not mind. We are more concerned with whether the students are learning their trade properly. Running a place in Shivpurwa means we see all sorts of people walking by every day. We have become a part of the local scene. It is just a few of us managing the whole thing. We do the teaching, the cleaning, and the accounts. It is hard work, but it feels honest to us. We do not have a big mission statement on the wall. We just want people to leave here knowing how to do a job safely and well.
