The Jha Classes

If you head down to the Lanka area of Varanasi, specifically to Lane No 11 on Ravindrapuri Road, you'll find where we work. The Jha Classes has been a part of this local neighborhood for quite a bit now. We’re situated quite close to the Grudham Chauraha, which is a landmark that most of the locals around here know very well. Varanasi is famous for many things, and education is definitely one of the big ones. There are so many students here because of the big university nearby. Our place is kept very simple—it's just a few rooms where we hold our daily sessions. We don't spend our money on glossy brochures or big ads. We figure if the teaching is good, people will find out about us on their own. And they usually do. We help with various subjects, mainly focusing on building a really strong foundation for the younger students. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but that makes it a bit quieter for when they are trying to study. The pin code is 221005. We have students coming to us from all over the city. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy during the local festivals, but that’s just what living in Varanasi is like. We just focus on the books and the students. My colleagues and I have been doing this for years, so we’ve seen the patterns of the exams change plenty of times. We just adapt and keep moving forward. No frills, just classes.
