The Challenger Classes

The Challenger Classes is down on Bhagwanpur Road, near Samne Ghat. We are very close to the BHU Trauma Centre, which is probably the biggest landmark in this part of Varanasi. Being in the 221005 area means we are close to the university and a lot of student activity. The Challenger Classes isn’t a fancy name we spent months thinking about; it’s just what we felt like calling it. Our space is pretty standard. We have some benches, a few chairs for visitors, and plenty of chalk and markers. The Samne Ghat area has a lot of energy, especially in the evenings when people are out and about. We open up early and stay late depending on the class schedule. It’s a regular routine for us. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most famous place in town. We just want to provide a decent place for kids to learn. Sometimes the traffic near the Trauma Centre makes it a bit hard to park, but our students usually come on cycles or walk. It’s an unpolished, real place. We don’t have a website with professional photos. What you see when you walk in is what you get. It’s just us working hard and trying to keep things organized for the next group of students. We’ve been here for a while and plan to stay for as long as we can.
