Surbhi Marbles

Surbhi Marbles is over at Plot No-D59/128 in Krichen Colony. We are in the Sigra area, not far from Smith School Road. If you know where Dr. Kailash Nath Mishra's place is, we are right nearby. It is a bit of a residential and commercial mix around here. Our shop is not huge, but we make sure to keep a good selection of marble for people to look at. Living and working in Varanasi means things can get crowded on the streets, so getting trucks in and out is always a bit of a challenge. We usually have to time it right so we do not block the road for too long. Inside the gate, it is all about the stone. We spend a lot of time talking to homeowners who are trying to pick something for their floors. It is a big decision for them, so we just let them wander around the stacks. We are not pushy sellers. We just show what we have and tell them how thick the pieces are. The dust from the stone is everywhere, but we are used to it by now. It is a family-run kind of feel. We have been in Sigra for a while and most people in the neighborhood know us by name. It is just honest work in a busy part of the city. We keep a ledger on the desk and handle things the old-fashioned way.
