Friends Stone

Friends Stone is over at Plot No. N-9/35X57 in the Patel Nagar Colony. We are specifically located in the Samne Ghat area of Bhagwanpur, not too far from Balaji Nagar. It’s a bit of a maze to find us if you aren’t from around here, but once you see the stacks of stone, you know you’ve arrived. The yard is usually full of different blocks and slabs we’ve gathered over time. It’s a busy part of town, especially with people moving back and forth toward the river. My friends and I decided to start this because we wanted to work for ourselves instead of some big corporation. We don’t have any fancy uniforms or a lobby with air conditioning. It’s mostly just us out in the open, moving things around and making sure everything is where it should be. The sun can be quite brutal in Bhagwanpur, so we drink a lot of water and take breaks whenever we can find some shade. People come by from the nearby colonies to see what we have in stock. We just talk to them like normal people, showing them the different textures and colors of the stones we have. It’s not a complicated setup. We just keep track of the orders and hope the trucks arrive on time. It is just a small place run by people who know about stone. There is always something that needs to be moved or organized in the yard.
