Shree Darshan Marble

You’ll find Shree Darshan Marble over at 3/96 in Chhota Lalpur, which is part of the Pandeypur area. It’s a lively neighborhood with plenty of stuff happening all the time. Our shop is full of marble pieces of all different sizes and colors. We keep the slabs leaning against each other in rows, and it takes some work to flip through them when a customer wants to see a specific pattern. The floor is usually covered in a thin layer of stone dust, no matter how much we sweep. We don't use any marketing tricks or big speeches. We just show people what we have and let them touch the stone. Pandeypur can get quite loud with all the rickshaws and people, but inside the yard, it feels a bit more solid. We spend a lot of our time checking the inventory and talking to the drivers who bring the stone in from the quarries. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult because the stone gets slippery, so we have to be extra cautious. We’ve been at this location for a good while now, and we know most of the local contractors who come in. It’s a straightforward business. We provide the stone, we measure it out, and we make sure it gets to where it needs to go without breaking. That’s our day.
